Beauty and the Beast is closing to make way for the musical of The Little Mermaid. I'm excited about this! I love Ursula.Does anyone know why Beauty and the Beast is coming off Broadway?
Why? Simple. Money. If a play starts to lose the draw power, it is replaced. Simple economics...or greed sometimes, as a travelling production can pull in lots more after it starts getting a tad stale elsewhere.
Annelisa Van Der Pol from That's So Raven is going to playing the finale Belle. She started the third of this month.
