Is whiteness of complexion is the new basis of beauty?

There are media which simply says that if your complexion is not that kind of white or your hair is not straight, you cannot atrract guys,can you consider that as racism? That beauty is only for those girls with that kind of characteristics? okay guys I just want to hear your opinion I'm really upset for those things which does not depicts the true meaning of beauty tnx! well you see, these people who are saying whiter complexion is the new ';in fashion'; today are just battling their ways up to have their products bought in the market...let's face the truth people are now killing for melanin complex..tell that ';white is in'; to those cities with so much tanning salon around.. even people in the hollywood are more attractive for being black or even half as much color of being brown...although we couldnt just judge them for being racist as they are not pertaining the black community as to being somewhat lower than the white..plus its the freedom of media to tell what they think...:DIs whiteness of complexion is the new basis of beauty?
That leaves me out, but many men say I'm beautiful with dark skin, hair and eyes. I attract lots of guys. Some of my boyfriends don't like girls with white skins. Media can be awfully silly.
I hope not.
